Week 2

Assalamualaikum.

There are no classes on 16 September because of Hari Malaysia. So, we need to do the replacement class. Hmmmm.

Okey. The class in 19 September 2014.

We need to participate in National University Carnival of E learning. The title was adopting Microbiology!!

Seriously, I have no idea about this project. :D But, after Dr. Wan Zuhainis explained, I can get a point.

Next, we proceed to the lectured. What I learned in Introduction to microbial world are:

1.     The scopes of Microbiology include Bacteria, Fungi, Archaea, Protoza, Viruses and Algae.

2.     I also know that only in our blood, there are no bacteria or microbe in there. Of course lah. When our blood has the bacteria, we are infected!!

3.     The common yeast we used to make bread was Saccharomyces Cerevisiae.

4.     Actually, in this world there are 5 group of E. Coli. The most dangerous and harmful E.Coli are O157:H7.

5.     Most of the bacteria have flagella to swim, run. For those bacteria that do not have the flagella, they move by slides called gliding bacteria.

6.     For Fungi, they are no phloem and xylem. They are saprophytes.

7.     Bacteria and Archaea are prokaryotes. Pro means before while karyote means nucleus. So, Bacteria and Archae have no nucleus, no mitochondria, no golgi apparatus, no endoplasmic reticulum. But, they have inclusion and magnetic crystal.

8.     While the rest are under Eukaryotes which have nucleus, mitochondria, golgi apparatus and endoplasmic reticulum.

Before we dismiss, Dr.Wan Zuhainis told us that there is a 3 hours class on this Monday. And I was like, okey. Nevermind. I am okey with it. Heeeee
